How to install Selenium on Macbook Pro/Macbook Air?

Install Selenium using pip

First of all you need to have python installed to your system. You can check out our posts to install latest version of Python on your
Mac/Linux or Windows PC -
Thereafter, it is advisable to check the version of Python installed on your machine. You can do that by using either of the following commands in your terminal
python3 --version
python3 -v
- Then, you might need to update your pip using
pip3 install --upgrade pip
- After completing the above steps, you are ready to install selenium using the following command :
pip3 install selenium
- To check, whether selenium is installed, open python in terminal/bash and import selenium and if there is no error, selenium is successfully installed on your machine

import selenium
